For the third consecutive year, the Northeast Chapter of the Colorado Oil & Gas Association (NECCOGA) has participated with the local community in Fun Night at Wray Daze. Berry Petroleum Company, Maverick Stimulation and Praxair contribute the groceries and labor for their food booth with all proceeds going to the Wray Volunteer Fire Department and the NECCOGA Scholarship Fund.

Shown right in the photo is Berry Petroleum Asset Manager Wayne King presenting a $700 check to Wray Fire Chief Cliff Merritt. Left is President Kenny Strauch of NECCOGA and  representing J-W Wireline Company.

Another $790 was given to the scholarship fund which dispersed $19,500 to area students in 2008. For more information about NECCOGA visit www.neccoga.org.
